Handcrafted Moses basket - ‘Tiba’

Made from robust Veta vera grasses indigenous to northern Ghana & Sustainably farmed. 

Each basket is hand crafted by our partners in Ghana. The artisans who make these are all midwives in the local area and do so for extra income. 

Each basket takes approximately three days to weave. Natural colours and dyes are applied to the grass prior to weaving dependent on style. 

Due to the handmade nature of these baskets there may be small discrepancies in size, colour and design. These differences are almost unnoticeable and we believe adds to the unique nature of these items. 

All baskets are finished with sustainably sourced bound leather handles. This leather is a by product of the local farming industry.
